My Story

Hi, I’m Maddy Tait - Certified Holistic Health Coach founder of Well With Maddy and Well Kitchen, and mum to my son Leo and my step daughter Kaya. 

For years, I did everything “right.”
I ate the salads, the smoothies, the green juices. I cut gluten, tried every cleanse, followed all the trending health advice… yet I still woke up every day feeling bloated, inflamed, exhausted, and stuck in a body I didn’t recognise anymore.

As a young woman who truly cared about her health, it was confusing — and honestly, pretty heartbreaking.

Doctor visits, blood tests, supplements, elimination diets… everyone gave me a different answer, and none of them worked. And the harder I tried to “fix” myself, the more disconnected I felt from my own body.

Nothing made sense.

The norms, the rules, the standard advice -  none of it matched what my body was actually experiencing.

So I became my own experiment.

I dove deep into functional nutrition, metabolic health, digestion, trauma-informed healing, and low-inflammatory living. I learned how the body actually communicates, how stress shuts down metabolism, how inflammation drives symptoms… and slowly, piece by piece, I rebuilt my own health from the inside out.

Everything changed when I stopped trying to control my body - and finally started listening to it.

I discovered how to eat in a way that supported my metabolism, soothed my digestion, balanced my energy and felt good to live in. My bloating disappeared. My inflammation calmed. My energy came back. And for the first time in years, my body felt like home.

That awakening became my calling.

Because I knew I wasn’t the only woman feeling confused, exhausted, and betrayed by her own body.
And I knew the mainstream advice wasn’t giving women real answers - or real results.

So I started helping women 1:1.

I have created hundreds of personalised meal plans, walked women step-by-step through healing their digestion, calming inflammation, restoring energy and rebuilding trust with their bodies.

What I now know:
Women aren’t broken. They are just overloaded, under-supported, and stuck in systems that ignore how a woman’s body actually works.

My work is simple:
To help women feel incredible in their bodies again - through nourishment, rhythm, science-backed habits, and a deeply human understanding of how the female body truly heals.
